Marley,Mommy,Daddy

Latley Marley and I have been spending lots of time with daddy as a family, hanging out at daddys house, playing, watching TV and staying up very late. Marley has been having a blast. You can tell she loves hanging out with mom and dad, something i think she has been wanting for a long time, and im so happy that it is here for her now.
Marley is getting very big, and all sorts of new characteristics are popping up everyday. she has lots of attitude which i admit she gets from her mommy, but she can also be stuburn and hard headed which she gets from her daddy. But she is goffy, fun and adorable, she gets that from her mommy and daddy. We love her sooo much, and are having so much fun as a family together. Cant wait for whatever is ahead of us, i know its going to be great, because as Marley gets older she just continues to amaze us everyday.
I need to start taking more pictures of that beautiful girl so i can post them all over this blog, but for now you will just have to deal with a pictureless post.

Family Time

Last night Marley, Mommy, and Daddy, went to Red Robbins for dinner, to spend some family time together. We had lots of fun, Marley of course could not sit still for five seconds, climbing in and out and up and down on everything. But it was still lots of fun. After dinner we walked around the mall to burn off the food we ate, Marley went crazy. Running away as daddy chased after her.
We saw the train driving around the mall, a couple times and each time Marley would say Chugga, Chugga, Choo, Choo it was so cute. Then she would say wait, wait train, because she wanted to ride it. Unfortunately by the time we got to were the train loaded it was closed , so we did not get to ride, but definitely another time.

After the mall we went to Grandmas House were Auntie Carmen was with her new puppy Ella. Marley loves the animals and when its one that she can actually pick up, She goes a little crazy. When Marley was not holding the dog correctly she was holding her by one arm, the neck, or shutting her in the door, so she would not get out. The dog liked Marley when she first arrived but as for when we left i can only guess that the dog was saying "thank u she left don't let her come back." haha

After Grandmas house we droped daddy off at his house but Marley did not want him to leave so we went inside and hung out for a while, talked, played, ate cantaloupe, watched Dora, just some good old fashioned family time. It was tons of fun, and i know Marley loved every bit of it.

PART, PARTY

Sunday we went to Adrien's Birthday Party were he turned three at Johns Pizza. (I think its called) Its like a 2x better version of Chuckie Cheese. Marley had a ton of fun it was very exciting overall with a little help from mommy and daddy she got about 400 tickets. pretty impressive for a 1 year old i must say. But we eat food played games and had tons of fun so glad we went, it was lots of fun. Plus she was able to spend another day with her cousins and that was good.

Hving Fun With Cousins

Saturday Marley and I went to go visit some of her cousins, who she has not seen in a very long time. Nervous at first but when she got comfortable she had lots of fun with her cousin Neto, Gabriella, Alexa, and Adrien. They played with toys, baby's, and chalk. I think the chalk was the most fun for Marley because she was drawing every were as well as rolling in the chalk, it was soo funny. Afterward her clothes were covered in chalk its a good thing that stuff comes out, cause she had it from head to toe. Adrien just turned 3 so he and Marley were perfect with each other. They were running around getting into things, We even caught them sneaking into the fridge together trying to get more apple juice. It was tons of fun cant wait to do it again.

Baking With Mommy

Nana wanted us to make cookies so she could get them to a couple people, so Marley and I decided to help bake. Marley enjoyed herself very much, she had tons of fun, she is just like me in that she loves to bake. She helped mix, pour, stir, and even taste. (you know just to make sure the cookie dough does not taste bad.) Marley kept sneaking licks off the spoon when no one was looking it was very cute. Forgot to take a picture of the finished project, but the Snickerdoodles turned out PERFECT, and tasted great too.

Precious Moments

Even though at times its stressful and hard, there are certain moments where you say to yourself "I would not trade any of this for anything." Well i had one of those moments about 10 minutes ago. As I'm on the floor doing my stretches, Marley walks up to me gives me a kiss and says "I love you" in her high little girly voice. I love those moments.

Terrible Almost 2's and Stuff

So Marley i think even though not 2 for another couple months has officially entered the terrible 2's. Out of the past 72 hours, Marley has cryed, wined, thrown a fit, thrown herself all over the floor, has self inflicted her body, for about 50 hours. it has been a hard few days, moments that i thought to myself i don't think i can do this on my own, but i get threw it because of Marley's kisses and hugs. Marley knows when I'm angry with her and that's when she starts laying the kisses on me, and i turn into a puddle of love for my sometimes obnoxious child.

Every time i say no to Marley she freaks, and sometimes she freaks for a reason that i am not aware of. Part of it might be because the girls are going back to school so we are waking up earlier and i don't think Marley has adjusted back to that fully, trying to get back into the routine of naps. But i also think she is stepping into the terrible 2's phase. I'm hoping things get a little better when we are good and back on the routine fully.

Some great things that are going on with Marley is her brain. I'm 100% sure this is why her head is so large. Her doctor has said herself that Marley is ahead for her age when it comes to speech, the average 1-2 year old is saying around 5 words besides mom and dad. Marley is saying probably close to 20 words and is saying a few sentences here and there as well. But the biggest think that lots of people are saying is advanced for her age is that she can count from 1-10 all on her own. Now she cant tell you what number is what, but she can count, and I'm so proud of her she is getting smarter everyday, i think it might be because she is finally eating vitamins. (Thanks Nana).

I'm also sort of trying to potty train Marley, its been difficult sticking with it but i am trying. I bought her a princess potty that she loves. She will sit on it with he pants on, but if you take her pants and diaper off and put her on the toilet all Hell brakes lose, she starts freaking out. I have gotten some advice but if anyone else has some please let me know. I'm hoping i can get her to at least sit on it bottom bare by her 2nd birthday so i have a while.

Other than those few minors but one big Plus, Marley is doing great she is getting big and i love being around her she makes anyone and everyone laugh and in a better mood when she is around, and i cant wait to see what she will do next.
