Reading Books

Cody called me into the back room the other night, to come check out Marley. As i walk in she is sitting on Brandon's lap while he is reading a book. It was sooo cute. Then Brayden wanted to join to, so now Brandon had two cutie patooties on his lap, it was adorable.
Marley i think has been having some with drawls not seeing all the men in her life like she is use to. IE, her daddy and uncles and papas. she has been needing some male bonding and Brandon is doing a great job with that. Marley wants to follow him every were it is very cute.

Marley's 2nd Birthday

November 19, 2010. Marley is 2 years old. Armando and I feel like she just came out my belly, she is growing so fast. We remember the days when Marley was so helpless and you had to do everything for her, and now she is a big girl and wants to do everything by herself. Mando and I will always remember the day we were blessed to have a beautiful healthy little girl enter our life., as I'm sure any parent would. she has made us laugh, smile, cry, angry, frustrated, but most of all loved. She loves to give hugs and kisses and tell us she loves us and i think that those are the moments Mando and i look forward to everyday. She has grown into quite the little toddler no longer a baby. and We cant wait to see what she does next. Marley we love you sooooo much.

Anyway getting back to her birthday. Because Marley and I are in Sacramento visiting Cody, brnadon, and Brayden. We did not have a big celebration for her, those will be coming when we get back to San Diego. Marley woke up to the tradition of Birthday Cereal and balloons. For those who don't know, in my family as a child my mom did not buy a lot of sugar cereal so on our birthdays we would always get to wake up to our favorite sugar cereal which we called our Birthday Cereal. My family has been doing as far back as i can remember so of course I'm doing for Marley. She got Lucky charms as her birthday cereal, because she LOVES the marshmallows. When Marley was eating her cereal i noticed she was only eating the marshmallows, she did not eat the other pieces of cereal i found this quite funny. But i allowed it because it was her birthday, can tell her no or make her eat stuff she does not want on her birthday. hehe.

For dinner decided to go to McDonald's because Marley loves It there and her favorite food is hamburgers and french fries. It was still lots of fun we sang a quiet Happy Birthday and she even got to blow a candle out on her hamburger.

After dinner we came home to presents and cake. Now Cody and I just threw together a cake, so its not the best looking one, but it did taste good, Marley loved it and that's all that matters. She opened her presents and received two Christmas/Winter feet PJ's and 4 Dr. Seuss books. she loved opening the presents, but wanted to eat cake more. So we pushed the presents aside and Marley went straight for the cake, and as usual no spoon needed over all it was a fun good day, and i hope the year goes by slow cause Mando and I are not ready for her to be 3.

Birthday cake from Nana

Today we met my mom for brunch. She had a surprise to give for Marley for her birthday. We found a seat, and Nana surprised Marley with her own personal cake, and a balloon. Marley got very excited it was so cute. she was ready to dig in right away. She had a special way of eating it, no fork required. She loved it tons, especial the sprinkles. her tongue turned blue, and her eyes got wide. She loved her cake from Nana.

Hide and Seek

So a week or so ago i met Lindsy at Malia's Doctors apt. When we went into the room waiting for Malia's doctor to come, Marley decided to take it upon herself to explore the small cramped area. While opening every cabinet she found one with nothing in it, and decided to play hide and seek. She was having tons of fun in her little cabinet, but it did not last long because we had to change rooms. But Marley had fun while it lasted.

Disneyland Nov 7, 2010 Marley's 1st Trip

Today was the day that i have been waiting for , for a very long time. Armando and I took Marley to Disneyland for the first time, it was sooo much fun we had a blast. We started the day by getting Marley her "first trip to Disneyland pin", then headed over to Fantasy Land. Have of Fantasy Land ended up being closed because they were shooting a bunch of Christmas performance in front of the castle for the Christmas parade airing on Christmas day, and because they were shooting off fireworks, half of Fantasy Land was closed. So we started the day on the Tea Cups and Dumbo. Marley absolutely loved both rides, which I'm not surprised i new they would be her favorite, it was very hard getter her off of them, crying "I want to go again, I want to go again". But it was cute.

After those rides we went over to the Finding Nemo ride, Marley enjoyed that to as well, she loved looking threw the submarine window at the fishes, and coral sawing below.

After Nemo, we went over to Toon Town, Marley had tons of fun going into Minnie and Mickeys houses, Minne's i think she loved best she was playing with the tea set, and cookies, and even got a little territorial when some other kids came along. We had to remind her that these were not her things and she needed to let other kids play too. While in Toon Town we Met Mickey mouse. Marley would not let me put her down but she still wanted to go up to Mickey , she gave him a high five, a hug, and kept showing mickey Mouse her tongue, which made Mickey laugh and he showed Marley his tongue. It was very funny, she gave Mickey a high five and then we left. When we walked out Mickeys house, we saw Minnie Mouse and Goofy taking picture with people, we were not able to though because they were leaving soon, but Marley stood there and watched Minnie and Goofy for about 5 minutes,it was very cute. As we were leaving Toon town we saw Pluto so we ran over to take a picture with him, and once again Marley was showing off her tongue (not sure why but she was doing that with all the characters.)

After leaving Toon town we went and rode Alice in Wonderland and Snow White, She did not like the darker parts of the ride but i think she still had fun.

Around 12 Marley started to get grumpy and fussy, and i new it was bed time. so we went and sat on a bench to try and get Marley to fall asleep, while in the process of doing this we were able to see bits of the Christmas parade, which they were filming to be shown Christmas day on ABC. So it was fun to see a couple floats, after Marley fell asleep we decided to go ride the Haunted House and Pirates Of the Caribbean. Marley stayed asleep threw the haunted house but woke up in the middle of the Pirates ride, which she kept saying was scary but she did good.

Now that Marley was awake we headed over to Tomorrow Land were we rode the Rockets, and the Buz Lightyear ride and Autotopia Marley sis not show much reaction to the Buzz ride but boy did she love Autotopia and the Rockets. I think Autotopia was also one of her favorites because she was able to steer the car all on her own while i did the gas pedal. It was funny though because Armando was in front of us and he kept turning around but he could not see Marley so it looked like a ghost was driving. It was quite the bumpy ride for me, but it was fun.

After Tomorrow Land we went over to Critter town and rode on the Pooh bear ride, which is one of my favorites. Marley had a good time, but more exciting we got to meet Pooh after we got off the ride. Marley went about showing pooh her tongue but also showed Pooh that he was on her shirt. She gave pooh a High five and we took pictures and left.
We then headed to the Haunted House because i did not think it was as scary decorated in a Nightmare Before Christmas, so we went on that , Marley said "scares me" in a couple places but she did good, and seemed to like looking at all the decorations. Then we went to Pirates of the Caribbean again. I wanted to see how Marley would do with it again not waking up in the middle of it and i wanted to see how she would do on the little drops. She did very good, even though she probably did not understand me much i warned her that there would be a couple drops were we slide down really fast. I new it got her tummy a little because i could feel her tummy suck in as we went down the drops, but once again she did very well threw out the ride.
We ended the night with Peter Pan and King Arthur's Carousel. We had such a fun time and I could tell Marley enjoyed her self, very much. We were surprised to see that there were not a ton of people at Disneyland today , the longest line we waited in was peter pan, and it was only 30 minutes long. This was nice, because Marley got a little restless in the lines, but they kept on moving. We did not make it to California adventures, but we will next time. Overall a great day and night.
